Poet Laureate Joy Harjo 2022 Michael D Green Lecture

We are excited to announce that Joy Harjo, 3-term U.S. Poet Laureate, will be featured as our speaker for the 14th Annual 2022 Michael D. Green Lecture. This is our annual lecture held in honor of Dr. Green who was a distinguished historian, professor, and the founder of the American Indian Studies program at UNC. This event will take place on Tuesday, November 1st at 2:30pm in the Carolina Union Auditorium. Joy Harjo will deliver a reading with commentary followed by a reception.The AIC would greatly appreciate donations of any amount that will go directly towards this event.To donate:1.
